I did quite a bit of research on Amazon of multiple sellers for this same basic kit. There are positive and negative reviews for all price ranges of this type of LED replacement bulbs so I chose a middle of the road price. Even the most expensive kits have some reviews of the lights blinking or burning out after short time periods.The first thing I noticed immediately after installing these was an odd smell similar to something burning. I couldn't pin point it so I just kept a close eye out.I found that one LED I put in the map light overhead was starting to flicker after 1 day. I decided to move that one to a rear door light so it was less noticeable and put a different one in the map light spot. The first thing I noticed when removing that LED was the circuit board had a charred black spot next to the flickering LED. That explains the burning smell so I didn't put it in the door and chocked it up to a faulty part. 1 out of 13 bad, No big deal. Within the next week, 2 more LEDs started flickering, all in the two map light sockets. I'm not sure if the map light sockets put out more voltage or current or if the tight quarters make the LEDs overheat in that location, but I have turned off the map lights and ordered replacement bulbs of a different style from another seller.Not all the LEDs are the same color temperature. Some are more blue than others. The different style bulbs for the dome light and trunk lights fit just fine with a tiny amount of adjustment. I have had no problems with those style bulbs. The amount of light given off may not be that much more, but due to the cool white color, it appears that it is brighter. I was happy with the amount of light, and color, that these LEDs give off.I really like LEDs and had high hopes for these, but 3 failures in a week and at least one with a burnt circuit board isn't worth it to burn up my vehicle just for cool white light.All the lights are nice and bright. It only came with 11 piece instead of 13. Which i didn't notice until way later. When I contacted the sellers about it they were quick to send me two new ones which I installed for my license place lights in the back few months back. Now the license plate lights are weak and blinking. They are nice and bright but i dont think it should be dying already.Overall pleased with the lights, yet to try them at night. No labeling as to what lights go where (thank God for YouTube) not super bright but still light up the cabin well for the price.The product was, for the most part, as described. One didn't work and one flickered. It was not worth returning the product for exchange, as there were more than enough lights for our needs and the cost was pretty inexpensive. I probably would look for other companies to buy LED lights from in the future.like them better light than factory.easy to install. perfect on 2015 4runnerInexpensive do-it-yourself upgrade over factory lamps on 2014 4Runner. Light intensity and color are good.
